Aug. 7& 8 th inagurated by Cardinal Varky Vithayathil at Le Meridian Hotel, Cochin.Inter Collegiate Dance Festival inagurated by Malayalam Movie actress Miss. Kavya Madhavan on August 7th at Abhishekam Convention Centre.


January 2004 - Global Malayalee Id Kudumbamela - 2004

The Global families in the Middle East had a get together in Rastanura, Saudi Arabia. Symposium on the development of Kerala was organized. Cooking competition winners were awarded. Various cultural programs by the children from various schools were available.

Global Malayalee Family get together with various Carols and Cultural programs connected to Christmas and New Year Festival including Indian dances.


February 2004- Free Medical Camp, and health awareness campaign, Alkhobar, Saudi Arabia

Organized in association with Al-Shifa Poly Clinic, Alkhobar. Free medical Check up, consultancy and medicines. More than 550 patients were given free checkup and treatment.



March 2004-Inauguration of GMC - Kerala Sector


Mr. K. V. Thomas, Hon. Minister for Excise and Fisheries of the Kerala Government inaugurated the GMC - Kerala Sector. Mr. K. Babu M. L. A was the chief guest.
Handed over the key of the newly built house by the GMC - Ethiopian Province and Moolans Group, Angamaly together.
Donated Rs. 2 Lakhs to help the renal patient Ms. Suharban, Alleppey, for her kidney transplant.



February 2003 - Free Medical Camp, health awareness campaign - Rehima, Saudi Arabia

Organized in association with Rehima International Clinic. More than 600 poor patients were given free check up, and free medicines.


May 2003 - Classical Dance Festival - Kalady, Kerala, India

In co-ordination with The School of Dances in Kerala. 3 - days Program. Chief performers Padmasree Padma Subramanyam, Padmabhooshan Danajayan. More than 12,000 people participated in the program that lasted three days..


Indian Day - Dammam, Saudi Arabia

Chief Performers: Kottayam Nazeer and Kalabhavan Navas. Dances and Orchestra by amateur artists in the Middle East. Audience - more than 3500.


June 2003 - Cancer Awareness symposium - Houston, USA.

More than 250 multi-nationals participated.



September 2003 - GMC - Onam Kudumbamela, Middle East.

Various Cultural programs connected to Onam festival including Onasadya, sports and games. Cooking competition all over the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the winners were given prizes.


October 2003 - M. G. Sreekumar Nite, Alkhobar, Saudi Arabia.

Organized in Saudi Arabia Amateur artists including Dancing Children and Orchestra by the leading singers in Saudi Arabia. More than 4500 people participated.


December 2003 - Formation of Ethiopian Province.

The GMC - Ethiopian Province was inaugurated in Addis Ababa. An Indo-Ethiopian Cultural Program was organized along with. The VIPs included prominent Indian and Ethiopian personalities.


Arabian Cinemala Nite, Dammam, Saudi Arabia

Skits and Cultural Programs by the Cinemala Team of Asianet Television. Orchestra and dances by the amateur artists in the Middle East. More than 6,500 people participated. During the function " Global Malayalee Council Cinema Excellency award - 2004 " was given to the famous South Indian Cine Comedian, Mr. Gajadi Sreekumar.
